Just took the tour today and boy were we amazed! Kathy is so professional, knowledgeable, warm, and not afraid to tell the group exactly how the community lives. It was refreshing and informative and Kathy was a walking encyclopedia of facts about the LGBT community and Castro. We took our kids (13 year girl and 17 year old son) and Kathy delivered all of the information in a matter of fact fashion. I would highly recommend this tour but caution parents with younger children as there is adult content that is discussed. I have an entirely new appreciation for the LGBT community and want to give a big Thank You to Kathy!!!!

Kathy is wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable and able to deliver some of the sexier bits of information with a knowing smile! The area is of course fantastic and the facts / insight this tour offers is invaluable. We did the tour then essentially walked it again once it was over, looking at all the fascinating sites again. It is a must do, being somewhere that was one of the key areas to kick off the modern gay rights movement was really fulfilling and has inspired me to do more in my own London community. Kathy is amazing and full of knowledge on the history of the Castro area, human rights and the power of community. We learned so much in the short 2 hour walking tour in this vibrant area. If you want to learn more about civil and equal rights, the Castro area, San Francisco, LGBTQAQP (and many others as not to exclude) this a is must do on your visit to this wonderful city. Thank you.
