Kathy (the tour guide) was great in sharing some of the most interesting aspects of the history of the Castro district. We enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

The tour guide, Kathy, gave us a great deal of interesting information, but kept the tour casual and was very open to answering our questions. It rained the entire day, but the tour was still excellent. It starts at the Harvey Milk Plaza and ends at his old camera shop, which is now the local chapter of the Human Rights Campaign, complete with a wonderful gift shop. In between these sites were some very interesting locations and landmarks in the Castro neighborhood. My daughter and I just loved this tour and I'd highly recommend it to families with teenagers or any interested adult. If you take the subway, the tour starts just outside the Castro station.

Kathy was excellent in sharing the real history of The Castro area. She was a lovely person and we both loved her enthusiastic tour.
