I loved the Secret Food Tour! Our guide, Charlotte, was fabulous from her personality, professionalism, knowledge of the history of the Mission and of the food we were eating. Charlotte made a point of finding out about each of us asking where we were from, where we lived now and our food likes and dislikes.The food was wonderful and every restaurant we patronized offered a taste of something new and delicious! I realized I wasn't as knowledgeable as I thought and I was born and raised in San Francisco. Seeing all the different murals was fascinating and learning about the artists and what they painted and why was so interesting. I would highly recommend the Secret Food Tour to anyone living in the Bay Area or visiting.

Upon meeting Charlotte at the beginning of our tour, it was clear to see that it was going to be a great experience. She was SO sweet, funny, and personable, and I loved how she laced the tour with cool and memorable facts instead of long historical monologues. Not only was the food fabulous at each stop, but the streets and paths we took were filled with the coolest murals, shops, and monuments. The food portions at each place were very generous, so the tour is planned perfectly to allow some walking and site seeing. My friends and I were in heaven at a few particular hole-in-the-wall stops, including a coffee shop that bakes THE BEST empanadas. 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone who loves excellent food and soaking up the culture of such an exciting district like The Mission.

Beautiful discovery of the Mission district with Dave. We enjoyed nice and good food. Dave also took the time to explain the movement of the walls and their evolution. I recommend!
