My daughter and I took Jim's tour last october, visiting all the way from washington state, and it was my favorite part of visiting georgia, just because of Jim! He was amazing! Talked to us the whole time, even on the boat ride over and back, was beyond knowledgeable and so funny! We took the half day tour but I'd love to come back again and take the full tour with my husband and nephew who didnt go on the trip with us because I know they would just love jim! Thank you so much for such a fun and memorable experience. I saw the other local tour guide on the boat and he didnt talk to his tour group either of the rides and they were back on the boat way before us. Jim fit in as much as he possibly could, getting us back just in time to catch the boat, so close that he thanked us in case he wasnt able to make it on before they departed because he had to park the car farther away than where he dropped us off. Amazing man, if you are looking to tour sapelo island do it with Jim!

Jim Morrison is a wealth of knowledge about Sapelo. His tours are pet friendly. We are lighthouse adventurer’s and he insured we saw both lighthouses on Sapelo. He has some great recreational stories about President Jimmy Carter. If you plan on visiting Sapelo Island we highly recommend Jim Morrisons Sapelo tours.

Island and tour were nice, but not special. But we were taken aback when tour guide kept asking for more money to cover costs of tour (ferry ticket, including his, pay for shuttle van, pay for gas), and he even made us pay for his lunch

Steve has his "facts" severely wrong! When he booked the tour, excluded items that guests must pay in addition to my included guide fee as listed on Viator were $5 per person for the ferry fee, including me, which were paid by the second party on the tour, not Steve! The second party also paid for my lunch, not Steve! Additional costs as stated on Viator included $50 for the rental vehicle and $10 for gas, paid in cash, exact change, to the vehicle owner, not me. Since Steve's didn't want to take the full day tour that the second group booked, I had to rent a second vehicle and communicate with Steve's group by walkie talkie. Steve did not advise me in advance that his elderly group had mobility issues, so we could not get out and walk around major areas of interest to discuss them in detail, forcing me to only stop and talk about them rather than walk to them. He also didn't spell "Sapelo" correctly either! Jim Morrison, Sapelo Island Tours.
