Shannon Scott's tour is an amazing experience. Bonaventure is a beautiful cemetery, evocative of the old South and surround by moss laden tall oaks. The history as told by Shannon is a fascinating mix of facts and old time story telling. If you see nothing else in Savannah, visit this place.

We learned so much history from Shannon on this tour. It was very warm and humid, so go early in the day. Shannon has done a lot of research and shared some unique facts that you wouldn't know just by walking through the grounds on your own. Frequent stops to pause and listen to a character come alive. It really is a beautiful cemetery and you haven't been to Savannah until you've visited Bonaventure. I wouldn't recommend it for young people- several were on the tour and seemed utterly bored and spent most of the time on their devices. : Jeanne

Mr. Scott is incredibly charismatic and knows his stuff. The tour was not too long adequate walking distance, and the stops along the way were fascinating much thanks to Shannon Scott's unparalleled talent of storytelling. The best tour, ever.

The only downside of the journey--the bugs were horrendous!!! Bug spray is highly advised.
