Private Savannah Ghost Walks with 'The Founder' is the longest running small group ghost tour in Savannah. It was founded in 1983. The Founder is an intuitive clairvoyant who brings a background in psychic work with a vast knowledge of ghosts and hidden Savannah history to his small group private and public tours. Tour sites are private and begin in mysterious places within the Savannah Historic District -- often in off-the-beaten track places where other large group ghost tours end. Subjects and experiences shared on the 90 minute hour walking tour includes tools and techniques for paranormal enhancement as well as in depth history of reach site to round out the experience.

The tour meets at the haunted fountain in Savannah' historic Forsyth Park, the oldest park in the South. Guests are greeted here and offered a bit of haunted history connected to the location including the hidden Yellow Fever burial ground and stories connected to grisly autopsies in old Candler Hospital nearby --epicenter of Yellow Fever in Savannah

Guests are shown the location of hidden burial grounds, told the story of the face in the window at 432 Abercorn and a personal experience many years ago by The Guide, The Founder of Savannah Ghost Walks

Monterey Square

Guests are introduced to the Pulaski monument and the story of Count Casimir Pulaski during the second bloodiest battle in The American Revolution -- fought nearby.

The Eliza Thompson House on haunted Jones street includes the outside of one of the most haunted inns in the Southeast where supernatural experiences from Inn guests are shared including Civil War hauntings

Doctor Courson House: Guests stand directly outside the legendary house of the late Victorian scientist, Doctor Courson who conducted early experiments in radiation from his basement, experiments that haunt the house to this very day.

Our tour with Anderson was the best I’ve experienced from the many savannah ghost tours I’ve been on! We toured the many unmarked grave sites of Savannah and I learned stories of sites that I’ve never heard on any other tour. His tour was backed by deep archival research, and he was very clear about what he had hard evidence of versus what had been passed down by oral tradition versus what he thought was hearsay or whipped up by the many years of ghost touring. I learned a ton about the history of savannah through this tour, and felt his tour was very thoughtfully crafted. He was a perfect gentleman, lovely to chat with, and we had an amazing time! It was also great because our tour ended up just being my friend and I with Anderson, so we got a lot of time to ask questions. He was authentic, well researched, and clearly passionate. Can’t recommend him enough!!!

Outstanding! Chase is a master storyteller weaving known history with the secrets of the paranormal. So much fun, so much history. I definitely now feel like I am on the inside of Savannah’s secret world. If you love history and a story well told, you simply must take this tour.

When you're touring any city, small group tours should be the way to go, especially in places like Savannah. Chase does an amazing job at managing small groups which makes for a perfect intimate setting. We didn't have to worry about missing out on something because of a huge crowd, and Chase is able to tailor tours which is an amazing benefit! Because he is a native to Savannah, his insights into the history and ghost stories of the city are hard to match. He is a veritable cornucopia of knowledge about the city, and also a wonderful storyteller to boot! His passion for his craft shines through and he is very engaging, performative, and never dull. We had an absolutely fantastic time and cannot recommend this tour enough!
