I didn't get to go on the tour bc they told us if our kids cried they would have to remove them from the bus. So we didn't go on the tour.. I've called viator and the place that does the tour and both of them have gave me the run around. I'm so frustrated with the whole ordeal. I would not recommend neither viator or the savanna ghost tour.

Not very scary. The tale of Robert the Doll in Key West was much scarier and I was hoping for something similar on this tour. The tour bus is black and the tour guide was also in black, which made it feel like we were on a Halloween tour. Good for atmosphere but too bad the stories weren't as scary as they could have been. Our tour began at 10 p.m. and it was nice seeing Savannah at night, which was the main reason we wanted to be on this tour. The guide was hard to understand at times - I don't know if it this is a Southern thing, but our last tour guide (on the historical trolley) was the same way - they ramble and you have a hard time figuring out where one story ends and one new story begins. She had a lovely Georgian accent but it was hard to understand because of the rambling. She had a mic so it was loud but you still couldn't figure out the point of her stories or find any kind of narrative arc. The tour made two stops - one at the supposedly haunted Andrew Low house and a stop at the Perkin's and Sons Ship Chandlery. The Low house seemed aimed at adults while the Perkins Chandlery seemed made for kids. The Low house was a little creepy and we were advised to take lots of photos as ghosts may turn up later in the photos (mine showed nothing). The guide inside the house had a shrill voice which scared me more than the house. It was OK. The second stop was really for the kiddies - we went inside a dark and cool warehouse space where we sat on crates while an old man did a monologue and there were some special effects of thunder and lightning. Really like a short theater piece and nothing scary about that - it was all artificial. After that, we got back on the trolley and went down past the cemetery. There was no stop, we just drove past. All in all, it was OK but nothing special. I was tired and didn't feel like walking so I did the trolley tour. I have a feeling the walking ghost tours are better as the guides have to be more coherent and you can digest the stories better. I wish the guide had been more interactive with us guests - maybe they could have hired someone to poke us on the shoulder sometimes and say "boo!" but that would have been cheesy.

We love doing ghost tours when on vacation. This one was subpar. Not very scary and definitely not a lot of good stories. Disappointed since savanah is known for its ghosts.
