We had a good time, very happy we did the tour. We only had a two day stop so here and we made the best of seeing Savannah for our first time.

The booking online through Viator was great. We are on a boat, and Glennda arranged for our pick-up for the nearest hotel. However, the day before, I got a call from the company saying we'd need to go to the visitor's center. Our guess is they had no one else to pick up at that location. The web description indicates it is a 5-hour activity (it's not). The bus tour was supposed to be 90 minutes (it was 65-70); the cruise portion was supposed to be the same ( it wasn't, although one must account for docking, I suppose). The remaining time has nothing to do with anything tour-wise--it's just time to grab a bite. Also, we were told we'd be collected by a shuttle after the tour (it would only wait 20 min.), but we waited 45 and no shuttle. Perhaps we BOTH misunderstood the location? We finally called and they told us it would be 5 minutes (it was 15+). The cruise boat could use a little upgrade. On the upper deck about 6-8 umbrellas were scattered around 20-ish tables. Much of the area was exposed to sun. An improvement might be to stretch those triangles of canvas or sailcloth over much of the central portion of the deck. More of the tables could benefit from the shade; the benches along the outside areas of the boat offer plenty of sunshine for those who want it. To give the guides/company credit, the information we received was good and since we didn't use the shuttle other than to get to and from our starting point, the company allowed us the chance to use it on another day.

Waiting for a shuttle that never came. We finally called and were told one would be there in 5 minutes but it was over 15.
