If you’re looking for a quality kayak tour with brand new sea kayaks and a guide who actually knows what he’s doing I would highly recommend Justin. Local guide who is very knowledgeable in the history of lake and land.

I kayaked with Justin on three tours this past weekend. The first tour was the Horseshoe Island/Eagle Bluff Adventure Tour. I have been kayaking in Door County for the past three years and this is the first time doing this route. The weather and water were perfect and Justin was fantastic. We stopped on Horseshoe Island and then made our way to Eagle Bluff and had a fabulous lunch, all locally produced. The second tour was the Door Bluff Sea Kayak Tour. Again, the weather was perfect and Justin did a fantastic job of talking about local history and pointing out interesting facts along the way. We were even able to see baby seagulls in their nests on the bluffs which was really neat to see. The 3rd tour was a custom sea kayak tour. We went to Moonlight Bay and Cana Island Lighthouse. I was able to climb the stairs at the lighthouse and have another awesome lunch with amazing food. I have used other kayak companies in the past, but Justin gives you a very unique sea kayak experience. He is a very kind, knowledgeable person who gives very good kayak instruction prior to going out on the water. He has a vast knowledge of local history and interesting facts pertaining to whatever area we are in. I have always used sit on tops and this was my first big trip using a sit in sea kayak. He made me feel very safe and comfortable on the water. I would highly recommend doing a tour with him and I will definitely be doing more tours with him this summer.

The brisket nachos that I had were amazing - my wife had the pulled pork topped Mexican street corn and she can't stop talking about it. What's nice is we went to the food truck in Sister Bay at Seaquist Orchard on Friday for dinner. We loved it so much we had to stop on our way out of Door county on Sunday for lunch at their 2nd truck at Door Peninsula Winery in Carlsville. This is our new favorite place in Door County, we will be back for sure!!!!!!!!!
