Tours go out in rain, snow and shine. There are no cancellations or rescheduling for rain or snow within 24 hours of the start of the tour.
The tour is approximately 3.25 miles and takes about 2.5 hours. You should be in good physical shape; there is uneven terrain, unpaved trails, rocks, some steep (but short) hills on dirt and mulch, uneven stairs and potentially slippery areas. It is essential that you dress appropriately and wear suitable shoes.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Some locations may not be open or accessible depending on weather conditions and/or park closings.

We are New Yorker's and we thought we knew Central Park but this tour really did take us to some secret (and wonderful) places. Our tour guide, Bruce, was great. He was fun yet very professional and he knows his subject, he is very passion! The pace was perfect. We highly recommend this tour for everyone (young and old). Our group was mixed age and everyone had a wonderful time. Thanks to Bruce!!

My friend and I really enjoyed the 2.5 hour tour of Central Park from 100th-110th Streets. The tour meandered through paths that I had never explored revealing hidden gems dating from the Revolutionary War, beautiful gardens and vistas. Bruce, our guide was excellent, and provided interesting background information of how the park was constructed, how the plan was chosen and why it was developed to be the “People’s Park”. I would highly recommend this tour.

Bruce is a very knowledgeable tour guide. He showed us beautiful and historically interesting sections of Central Park above 100th Street. As another person on our tour said "He made the park come alive", with his stories supported by photographs. This tour would appeal to people unfamiliar with Central Park as well as to New Yorkers like me familiar with the park - but not all of it and of its unique history. I highly recommend.
