Sitting atop what was once a cemetery, this former cooperage operated as a speakeasy and brothel during Prohibition under the ownership of the legendary Capone brothers. In the 1990's, It was an occasional haunt of infamous serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer.

Voted one of the FIVE most haunted bars in the entire nation, Shakers Original Ghost Tour lets you take an uneasy glimpse into the establishment's sordid past. This tour takes you through every floor of our historical establishment - our main floor, the cellar basement, and the two upper floors. Once home to a cemetery, speakeasy, and brothel, Shaker's walls DO talk - and the tales they tell aren't always pretty. - 60 minutes. Indoors. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before tour start time.

It was so cool to get to go through the entire building.. indoors, outdoors, bathrooms, basement, upstairs… the entire thing was such a cool experience- nothing spooky happened on our tour but still the scary ghost vibe throughout it all!

The food was good. The staff was very nice and the ghost tour was awesome. Definitely recommend for a night out.

Excellent tour. CG was our guide and did a fantastic job. We went into the tour thinking it’d be a cheesy cash grab tourist spot. Not the case. The rich history and guide throughout the whole building was fascinating. The bar itself is worth visiting for its beauty. I highly recommend this tour.
