The most most fun and adventurous activity I did in Key West and I've been to this absolute wonder paradise twice now. It's a small family operation run by a father and his son. The son Clay is very people oriented and loves to answer questions and even encourages conversations. Soda pop is free and available all through the trip. There is a canopy so you don't get sunburned. The ride is a absolutely beautiful with the torquise colored shallow waters which you can see the bottom in all it's splendor and vegetation and aquatic animal life. Expect to see fishes of all sizes, rays, sharks and sea birds. The father and son tells lame jokes which seems quite appropriate. They discuss a wide range of topics: weather, ocean life, environmental regulations, their person histories, the business, biology, ecology, etc. and seem quite knowledgable about the subjects, I for one appreciate it when the crew did their homework, so many tours the tour guide knows nothing about the topics other then the basics. The children are allowed to feed the sharks afterwards. The sharks aren't that big, there can be a variety of different sharks but usually one particular specie. Plenty of time to see and view the sharks, not scary and quite fun and entertaining. Saw a lot of shrimp boats as well. Please note, the location is is behind the Opal Hotel west of Duval Street. The Hotel changed names numerous times. Simply walked between Museum of Art and History at the Custom House and Opal hotel to the back (north) side of the hotel, use the restroom there and register at the Pier D?, the only long pier sticking out with all the kiosk, The shark tours kiosk is in the middle. Great people whom provide this tour. You'd be a fool to pass this up.
