We did this as part of the Miami Explorer Pass. When we were boarding, we declined to be photographed because we weren't into buying the photos they wanted to sell us afterword. On cruse ships, this is not a problem. Here, they made a big stink and claimed it was Miami Harbor Authority regulations that all passengers had to be photographed, yada, yada. They wouldn't let us board, so we relented. That set a bad tone form the rest of the cruise.
The rest of the tour was so-so. All announcements were made both in English and Spanish, which got kind of tiresome, but this is Miami! Drink prices were outrageous ($10 for a can of beer, $15 cocktails) and were reduced as we were heading back. What's up with that? What was advertised as a 90-minute cruise ended up being 80 minutes (I clocked it.) The information was informative, but some of it was repetitive for us because we had already taken a duck boat tour of the same area. (Note to file: Don't do both.)
