Mopeds are fun and one of the cheapest activities on Maui. Travel to the beach, go snorkeling, hike the blowhole or just drive the roads of our majestic island on Maui's #1 way to do it. MOPEDS!

Mopeds are not to be ridden between sundown and sun up! Riding boundaries are south of the shop to the small town of Olowalu and north of the shop to the Nakalele Point (Blow Hole).

The driver of the vehicle will need to agree to the following:
-I am least 18 years of age
-I possess a valid driver's license
-I understand the riding boundaries
-Only one rider per 50cc moped
-I will wear protective eye-wear at all times
-I have been instructed to wear the provided DOT approved helmet at all times

I rented mopeds from both the Lahaina and Kihei locations during my trip to Maui and it was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Driving the moped was an easy and fun experience and gave us a great new way to explore, take in the beautiful scenic views on our drive and discover small beaches along the way. The owner and employees were very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend renting from 808 Rides. They have excellent rates, provide everything you need and have really nice equipment. The seats on the mopeds have room to put a towel, clothes and whatever you need for the day. They also have electric bikes and scooters and larger mopeds. I absolutely loved my days on the moped and I definitely intend to rent again next time I visit. Highly recommend experience and business!

Easy check-out process, great overview of the operation of the scooters and nice they were in excellent shape. Also like the fact that we could do a partial day rental, which didn't seem to be an option anywhere else. Will definitely use 808 Rides next time we are back in Maui!

One of the highlights of our trip. Amazing time exploring the coast line. Loved the staff there and they were very helpful with where to go, what to do and answered any questions we had! Would recommend to anyone and would definitely do it again! Super affordable which was a bonus for us!!
