Combine sightseeing and river rafting on this relaxing Skagway shore excursion. Enjoy a beautiful 10-mile (16-km) drive along the coast to the Dyea Valley, an old Gold Rush settlement rich with history. On the drive, you may spot seals, eagles and other wildlife (however wildlife sightings are not guaranteed). See the start of the famous Chilkoot Trail, where thousands journeyed in pursuit of gold in 1898. Gear up with lifejackets, rubber boots, and rain ponchos (if necessary) for the peaceful (approx. 40 minute) float through lush coastal forest with mountain views. Enjoy nature away from the crowds in a beautiful Alaskan setting.

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
Maximum per raft/group is 11
Minimum age is 2
Tour can be cancelled if river is in flood stage.
Weights are asked so we have enough space on the raft for all participants. Please make sure to enter weights when booking (choose Kg or Lbs)

Amazing guys and wonderful experience. Aware of their surrounding and deep knowledge of the land, animals, history and of course the river.

Our tour guide, Danny, was absolutely fabulous! First of all this company is very accommodating. We were supposed to meet by our ship, But we were in town after taking the train in the morning. I called and they said we could meet at their office. Much easier for us, and faster! (Again much appreciated For accommodating tighter schedule). Our guide drove us to the river with a wonderful narration of history of the area and letting us know what the experience would be like! These are smaller groups - we were 2 of 8 And this makes for a more intimate experience. These guys and gals really know what they are doing and the entire team is so helpful and accommodating. The float is easy and so beautiful!! You just sit on the raft and enjoy the majestic scenery that surrounds. It was fun, exciting and such a peaceful way to end our day In Skagway. We will be back and would definitely book again!!!
