My wife and I were in Hawaii for our 20th anniversary and I chose this tour because of the coffee plantation and the visit to the Kilauea volcano. Our tour guide Katie was awesome; very knowledgeable and pleasant. There is a lot to see on this tour; some of it is drive-by but the best parts are planned stops. The Greenwell coffee plantation was very interesting. I am a retired scientist who worked in seed production and processing and so for me the steps needed to go from a coffee cherry on the tree to roasted coffee were fascinating. The coffee was great too and I bought a pound to take home. The black sand beach was crowded but nice and Katie let us know where we could see some turtles. The most awesome part of the tour was the visit to Volcanos National Park. There were several opportunities to walk to caldera overlooks and lava was easily visible. The highlight was a stop at a less crowded overlook at twilight to see the lava-glow. We visited at what seemed to be a period of increasing activity and lava was spattering in spots like small fireworks. Katie took photos of us using our camera and illuminated us with a hand held light with the lava-glow in the background. The visit to the volcano involves a fair amount of walking but it's well worth the effort. A great tour and a great tour guide.

Our guide, Katie made the tour! She was not only knowledgeable but did extras that showed her passion for what she does. There was enough time at each stop to enjoy and of course the views of the volcano were amazing
