Our tour guide was a very nice guy... we were picked up promptly, but we had to wait on others which took away from our time we were able to spend at the stops. We never had any time at the Chinese Theater (so disappointing to only get 30 min at something so well known). We spent WAY to long at the Grove, we went right after breakfast, and we got dumped off to eat again too soon! The beach was ok, but again we didn't get much time to really know.... it was suppose to be slowed down by the extra money I paid to have longer time on this tour..... so if you want to spend more than 30 minutes at a stop this tour is NOT for you....and you will NOT see any movie stars homes, so if that's the type thing you want this isn't going to be a good tour for you. The weather was amazing, and now we have the t-shirt for this tour but no thank you anymore.

This review is for Starline Tours. Our tour is two photo stops in Los Angeles, 40-45 minutes at the Chinese Theater, 1 hour at the Grove and Farmers Market, 25-30 minutes at Rodeo Drive - NO MOVIE STAR HOMES mentioned in our tour description - 1 hour in Santa Monica and 30 minutes in Venice Beach. I'm sorry you're disappointed, Melinda but the tour you describe is not ours and you didn't book with us. I'm glad the weather was amazing and that you got a T-shirt but I would expect that the disappointment you really feel is not booking your tour with us and going with an operator who cares less about you and your family then they do about the money you pay. Please take our tour next time and hopefully, anyone who reads this will look at the other reviews and that TripAdvisor Staff will move this to the correct company. PS - we don't go to a depot and there is no waiting for other guests - our tours are small - up to about 12 guests and we pick up and go - there is no waiting and no depot. Again, I'm sorry for the disappointment. Coming thousands of miles to have a bad day is terrible and bookings can be confusing. Please look at our website for a complete description of the tour.

My wife and I took the tour last week on our trip to California. Rick was a great tour guide! He has a ton of knowledge about the area and could answer pretty much every question we had for him. He also was very fun to talk with. The tour was right on time to pick us up from our hotel in Anaheim. Just seeing the traffic alone on the highways to LA made me appreciate the tour--no way would we want to drive thru all of that! All of the stops that were promised when we booked the tour were accounted for. It does get to be a long day, but when you want to see all of LA in a day, would would you expect? Would highly recommend this tour!

I took the tour with Rick, he is a very knowledgeable person, a lot of trivia, the traffic time passed without us noticing it because he was just wonderful! the places we went were also really nice, just wish we could be at the star walk longer, since our tour was the same day of the premiere of the Infinity War!!! we saw the set up!!!
