After departing the Phoenix metro area, our tour travels through the expansive Sonoran Desert filled with the native saguaro cactus. The scenery begins to change as we increase in elevation and views of the cactus fade into pine trees. As we continue further into Northern Arizona, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff and from the highway, see the San Francisco Peaks among the seemingly endless Ponderosa Pine Forest, the largest contiguous forest of ponderosa pines in the world.

Williams Depot
Williams will be our first stop along the tour for a chance to experience Route 66, the iconic American highway steeped in rich tradition. While in Williams, guests will have the opportunity to “get their kicks on Route 66” with walks along the original route, explore the local shops and capture souvenir photos highlighting a bygone era in classic American history. Also known as the Will Rodgers Highway, Route 66 is the most recognizable road in the United States and stretched 2,448 miles from Chicago to California upon completion.

Just before entering the Grand Canyon National Park, you will be checked in for your 45 minute helicopter flight, spanning over 90 miles of the Grand Canyon. After your flight, your guide will bring you back into the National Park to discover more by foot. Your total time at Grand Canyon including the helicopter and walking is approximately 3 hours, with approximately 1-1.5 hours on the rim walking.

Took the day trip from Phoenix to Grand Canyon with optional helicopter ride. I wouldn’t hesitate to take another tour with this company. They were so professional. Our guide, Mike, was and he was amazing! Easy booking, pick up from my hotel in Scottsdale, comfy small bus and lunch was included (unlimited water too). The weather was bad so our helicopter trip got cancelled (was a $300 add on- refunded by helicopter company). That was a bummer but had nothing to do with the tour company. We had a quick stop at Route 66 which was just enough time to grab a few souvenirs. Thanks again for everything. I’ll never forgot my experience with you. A++++

If you are in the PHX area, this is the trip to do. They pick you up at your hotel, drive you up whilst stopping for some photo ops & lunch. The driver (I think it was Mike or Mitch sorry =( he was very knowledgeable & fun. Then they drop you off at airport for your AMAZING flight, they are waiting for you when your return to take you to a few more scenic spots before escorting you back to your abode on a very comfortable tour bus! I took my father on this trip & he loved it, it was a once & a life time event!

The ground tour we did by ourselves. After stopping and viewing many of the amazing lookout spots, we then took a heilicopter ride. It was beauiful and amazing. Well worth your time.
