The activities planned and the route within this tour are good, and that day could become the best day in Las Vegas for me, but I got a driver whose name was Art, so the experience felt from 5 stars to 2 stars. He is the most nonchalant tour driver I´ve met in my life. He has some serious problems with hearing and probably even has Parkinson (I sat beside him and saw non-stop tremor in his hands and face). Maybe these two health issues explain that he was mumbling not speaking. After half an hour with him I was sure that I was an idiot and could not understand English. Though when talking to other tour´s participants (from Florida, Canada, France, and Ireland) this day as well as to all the people who worked at Sky Walk, Eagle Point, Hoover dam, helicopter pilot etc. I understood everybody and all native English speakers told that even they did not understand this driver. I saw later comments about this driver and do not understand how Adventure Photo can keep this driver at his job. I paid a lot of money to come to Las Vegas from Sweden and bought just this tour along with other activities in the beautiful landscapes in Nevada, but I learned nothing, nada, zero just from this tour. I expected a knowledgeable, helpful, and polite tour driver but I feel cheated, I felt that I threw my money in a trash box. In the middle of the day, I asked Art whether he had some prerecorded tour in English or maybe Swedish, Russian, Spanish, or French (languages that I speak and understand) but he ignored me. Art was also a kind of technically illiterate as he couldn’t not arrange sound on the vehicle´s speakers, so during the whole trip we had to stand with grinding sound when Art was mumbling... At Sky walk he tried to reassure me from paying extra 25 dollars for the option to do Sky Walk explaining that it might take 45 minutes in line, and we were there for 1 hour for lunch and photo shots. He also told that it was the same view as in the restaurant or anywhere outside. The whole was in front of the people who worked at the cashier, and they were surprised. They said that it was no longer than 15 minutes waiting in line just at that time. From the beginning I wanted to go on the glass floor to get that adrenalin feeling. So, I bought this option, and it took me 11 minutes in the line! After that I came into the restaurant for my lunch, but Art came to me and took me on the shoulder and walked me out of the restaurant saying: “You do not have time for food, we are leaving in 20 minutes”. First, when we came to this place, Art said that the bus would leave the location at 11:25 to catch the helicopter 12:00 (we were at helicopter´s site and registered us, so we needed to be back 15 minutes before the flight). When I came to the restaurant time was 10:40. I do not eat lunch 10:40. The waitresses there suggested to pack my lunch for take away and told if only I wanted to drink coffee that was included so I could stay inside the restaurant and enjoy the view and company of other participants. I did as they suggested but Art was not happy that the girls found that nice solution and told me in a very, very, very arrogant tone:” Listen to me! You must finish your food or coffee in 20 minutes! Then we leave! I must take the rest of the group to another place!” I answered that I did not like the way he spoke to me and did not need more than 10 minutes to drink up my coffee. I was finished already 10.55 when he was still finishing his lunch. And you know which place he “took us” to?! 20 meters outside the restaurant! To the Eagle Point! I mean, there were the signs like THIS WAY TO EAGLE POINT. I needed 3 minutes to move from the restaurant to this place where we took photos. We were supposed to walk there around in 25 minutes… Everybody was finished 11:15 and we were just waiting for Art… After helicopter flight, which was nice as expected, Art took us to Guano point where we had 45 minutes that is enough to climb and take photos. Joshua tree forest and Hoover dam were beautiful spots but to understand Arts mumbling was impossible, so I read about them after the tour.
