The wildlife at the State park is unpredictable with groupers, snappers and angel fish guaranteed and everything from dolphins, eagle rays, to manatees possible but less common. If you have good eyes or a passion for macro photography, octopus, scorpion fish, frogfish, and sea horses are present, if you can find them, in addition to the many species of blenny, crabs, mollusks, and fish. Visibility is generally 15-30'. Mild currents are normal as well.

Sara was great, very knowledgeable about the dive site. Sara made sure everyone in the group was comfortable and safe. I needed to rent a regulator, and their rental gear is top notch. They are the only shop I've ever rented a regulator from that has a dive computer. The rest of the staff that I encountered at the shop were very friendly and seemed to be very knowledgeable as well.

They were very friendly and helpful when I needed some help with my BCD at the shop. They took me out for the shore dive even though I was the only person in the trip, which not everywhere will do. Greet experience overall.
