The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive wine to-go.

Thanks to Ms Ashley the hike was very informative learn something new. Every step of the way she gave us s little history she was wonderful. If I has to change anything it would be the wine tasting part of the tour it needed more of a selection.

Fine wine and exotic animals. Malibu wine hikes has more to offer than any average wine tour and of course it does. It’s Malibu. There’s plenty of parking on arrival. So no worries if you’re driving from far away. There are also bathrooms before you begin your trek. My fiancé and i checked in with our age appropriate photo id’s at the “camp mobile” before meeting our hike leader. Great guy, very knowledgeable about the lands history, about the type of agriculture the mountains hails to and even has a soft side for the wild life. We came across a beetle which’s genealogy i do not recall, that our tour guide picked up and taught us about. He was concerned that someone from the group might step on it. Good heart. We proceeded from our initial hike and view to our first animal feeding. Zebras!!!!! Well i won’t spoil it for you. But we fed many other exotic creatures. After that we headed down to our 4 wine tasting. Which is also a lunch and social spot. More animals, More hiking then boom. That famous view; see pictures. We hiked back to our starting point after i day a total of 90 minutes from the moment we started. It was a great trip. I recommend it. I’m going to go back for the next tier soon.

We loved spending our morning at Saddlerock Ranch, enjoying the Malibu Wine Hike! It was fascinating to hear about the property’s roots, and we loved our guide Ashley. She was a wealth of information and so enthusiastic about what she does! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the LA area.
