Excellent experience! For starters, we got picked up at our hotel in a very comfortable luxury van with soft, leather bucket seats, large windows and more than adequate air conditioning. Jim, our driver/tour guide was very well spoken and very knowledgeable about the island and all the scenic areas to stop and take pictures. Most of all, Jim was a master driver! The road to Hana is extremely twisty, narrow in a lot of areas and cliff-side at all times! I would never attempt to do it myself!! Honorable mentions to this trip were the restaurants we stopped at for breakfast and lunch and the bonus stop we made roadside to get banana bread and other goodies like shaved ice and ice cream. Do not hesitate to book this tour! It is worth every cent you pay.

Temptation Tours is the way to experience the Road to Hana. Yes, you can drive the road yourself, but you would miss out on many of the sights, the history of Hawaii, the Road, and so much more. Jimmy was our driver and guide and we couldn’t have asked for a more professional, knowledgeable and kind man. He truly took care of all of us, made sure we were safe, gave us a wonderful history of the Road and Hawaii, and just made it an unforgettable experience. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dave, who picked us up at our hotel. A true gentleman who made you feel right at home at the beginning and end of your tour. The tour itself was beautiful and very interesting. A few added pluses for the tour we took included both breakfast and lunch at great restaurants, bottled water, umbrellas for the occasional rain showers at some points, as well as a very comfortable vehicle with the nicest seats we’ve experienced on any tour. Truly an A+ experience that we highly recommend for adults and older teens.
