Our tour guide, Kyle, was very knowledgeable about the area (being from the Napa region) as well as the wine industry. He could explain everything from the biology of the soil to the different varietals and the wine making process. The wineries we visited were smaller and we received alot of personal attention, which I appreciated as a first timer. I'd love to tour with Platypus again!

Thank you Steve for a great tour. Super fun small vineyards. Great information, good wine and perfect variety of stops. Lunch was nice and a good snack on the bus too! Road was a bit curvy on the way home and we got a smidge car sick. Could have used some cheese and crackers before the last vineyard. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Steve has been conducting tours for us for over ten years, and he somehow manages to get even better at it every year. I can state with confidence that I don't think anyone anywhere presents a better wine tour than does Steve Hunter. I'm glad you got to experience his tour and that you loved it. I'm sorry about the curvy roads, though; that's where we have to go to dig up the best hideaway wineries... Thanks very much for posting your feedback. Hope to see you again!

I did this tour in 2016 and was soo impressed decided to try it again in September when we came to napa & Omg has it gone down hill..Save your money go somewhere else.We went to smaller wineries that were all ok but mainly financially driven with a push to buy the wine .Lunch sucked.Guide was ok.What a big disappointment from three years ago .
