I used Trip Advisor to find group wine tasting tours for my wife and I. Platypus was extremely helpful via email to help coordinate the type of tour I was looking for. This was our first trip to the Napa Valley region, and Platypus will be on our list to give us a tour on our next trip out here. Kelly was unbelievable as a tour guide, taking us to 4 fabulous wineries, which we found out later that Platypus actually leaves the hones on the tour guide to coordinate/plan the entire day. Kudos to Kelly and Platypus for creating an unbelievable and memorable experience.

We were in for a quick weekend and got on the tour last minute--8PM night before. It was Outstanding! First the \/an was \/ery comfortable. We went with 3 other couples we didn't know beforehand but got to know quickly and by the end knew our families and background. Great social interaction. Next, our tour host Army. Of course he piloted the vehicle but he also picked the vineyards and supplied snacks and actually made our lunch at one of the stops. He knew the vineyard hosts/owners and made the experience special. Since he picked the vineyards, I have to give him props here too. There were differences in the quality at the different properties but, to our limited paletes, there were a couple of very good ones. 4.5 ratings on the wine app. We would recommend this as a must for the best sample for a 1 day trip--and ask for Army!

Thanks for sharing, Bob: Army is still passionate about creating the best day possible for his guests, even after guiding tours for us for almost ten years. The personal relationships he has cultivated with the folks at the wineries over the years really help him get awesome experiences. We love Army!
