Our guide, Nikki, was incredible. Super sweet and had tons of knowledge about the area. This was my first time on a horse, and Nikki made me feel safe and comfortable with everything - SOOO much fun!!

We really enjoyed the lovely venue, the scenery, and our friendly hosts. Our ride took us through beautiful landscape with some great views of the lake. While I am an experienced rider, the horses are well schooled and i think riders of very little or no experience would feel comfortable, and i think anybody would enjoy being able to get out into the beautiful Sonoma landscape surrounding the ranch. We enjoyed a glass of wine after the ride in the barn/event space which is also quite charming. We took the noon ride in Sept. on what was a mercifully mild day mid week. I think the mid-week timing and good weather added to the experience .

I brought my 9 year old cousin horse back riding for the first time. I knew there was a possibility of us having to stop mid way through. Nikki was amazing and talked her through the whole ride. When my cousin decided she was done and didn't want to ride anymore we turned right around. Nikki was great at making my niece feel confident and did a great job of explaining in simple terms that a 9 year old could understand how to ride properly. I'll definitely head back out when I can and leave the little one at home so I can enjoy the whole ride.
