We did a lot of epic stuff during our two-week stay in Alaska -- halibut fishing, dog sledding, kayaking, fly fishing, wildlife tours. But this tops the list. I know it's a big chunk of change, but it truly is worth it.
We were blessed with an extraordinarily clear day, so maybe I'm a bit biased. But getting to see Alaska up close and from above is something I just can't put into words.
TAT was great to work with, too. Our original tour was cancelled due to weather. They were able to accommodate us on another day. So if you book this, make sure you have flexibility in your itinerary for a backup day or two!
After our Friday morning trip was cancelled, we went on up to Denali NP as planned. But we only stayed 2 nights instead of 3. We instead spent that night in Talkeetna and were able to get up the next morning for an early flight tour.
