Wow!!! What a spectacular, mind blowing and memorable experience for the whole family. The glaciers are growing and flowing at Denali. Seeing the “amphitheater” and understanding the geology forming the 30+ mile Ruth glacier was unreal. Takeetna air taxi is top notch. Grateful for this experience.

This will go down in history as one of the most exciting things I have ever done. The views were just spectacular. Every twist and turn was jaw dropping. Our pilot, Asa, was great. Smooth take off and landing on the glacier. Don't skip out on landing on the glacier. It was so amazing, and something that I will never forget. Everything was smooth from arriving at the airport to our return. Friendly and helpful staff. Do not miss out on the adventure of a lifetime.

My experience was awful. The pilot literally ignored every sentence I had spoken and pretended like we were invisible. He was only friendly to another family that were on the plane with us and offered to take pictures for them and held conversations with them. Meanwhile, the only time he has spoken to us was to check people off before boarding. Through the entire flight, he had treated me and my mother as if we were invisible, not responding to a single thing we said, and did not even look in our direction. Conveniently, my mother and I were the only people of color on the aircraft. I was extremely disappointed at this and had went to the office to file a complaint immediately after we got off. Interestingly, he walked past me as I was talking to someone in the office and, again, acted like I did not exist. It was an extremely unprofessional and outrageously offensive behavior for a tour company. It was humiliating and degrading. I would not recommend it to anyone I know and certainly would not return. I cannot believe I paid a lot of money to be treated like this.

Please accept our sincere apologies; the pilot on this flight was asked to take photos for a couple who got engaged during the glacier landing. While we do try to give personal attention to each and every one of our passengers, we sometimes fall short. Every year TAT flies thousands of passengers from all over the world and would never knowingly make anyone feel unwelcome. We hope you enjoyed the scenery & the rest of your visit to Alaska.
