Our guide Vidu arrived as stated and was waiting outside our hotel, right from the start he was very friendly and polite, we had booked our tour which was a 'set' tour but there were things that we really didn't want to do, instead Vidu made our tour personalised to us....which was lovely, he was very knowledgeable and informative about places/towns we were driving through and stopped off en route at places to allow us to take photos. The turtle hatchery was amazing and it's obvious that the people who work there are very passionate about taking care of the turtles, we saw lots of baby turtles, disabled turtles and sick ones, it is quite expensive $25 to get in but honestly it's worth revery penny knowing that you're helping to protect the turtles. We went to Galle Fort and despite it being extremely hot it was a beautiful place to visit, we wanted to go to turtle beach which is about 45 minutes past the hatchery as we were told by people at our hotel that the wild turtles come up to the shore and if you want you can buy food to feed them, we saw at least 8 giant turtles and they come right up to you, it's in quite a touristy area but still worth a visit. If you choose to go on this tour we highly recommend asking if Vidu can take you, lots of memories made, it was a perfect day 🌞😊

Vidu was an excellent driver and guide. He was able to personalize the trip for me. The day flew by and I was able to see everything I wanted.
