All of our operations conduct ride along evaluations for all of our drivers, on regular basis, to stay apprised of the driver’s safety practices and driving skills. This is not a case of the operation failing to follow their regular ride along safety procedures. This driver was recently evaluated and there was no incident of this behavior and he received a high rating for his safety. Regrettably, this driver made a poor decision that was independent and opposite of our training.
