The place is pretty cool in many ways, but it is a painful experience for those who cant stand in line for an extended period of time. I have a bad knee. I can walk with a cane, but I cant stand still in line for more than ten minutes. My wife waited in line but there were no places for me to sit. I asked the security guard and he said I could go downstairs to Grand Central station. I went downstaris and there were no places to sit there either. I went back upstairs and sat on the floor a distance away from the waiting line. The security guard came and yelled at me saying I couldnt sit there. I asked where could I sit. He said you can sit on the floor at Grand Central station. So I did. There were lots of homeless stretched out on the floor one of them screaming I'll kill you to the tourists and business people walking by. I sat down on the floor away from the homeless and two of NY's finest came and told me I couldnt sit there and told me to leave. They just shrugged when I asked them why could the homelss sit on the floor, while I, a visitng tourist with a disability couldnt. They just repeated their demand that I leave.
I went back upstairs and had a very painful wait for my reserved time. The building itself was pretty cool, but I was in too much pain to enjoy it.
