Join us aboard the iconic schooner, Suncoast Horizon and step aboard our 2 hour sailing excursion. Feel the wind as it glides us through the picturesque waters of Treasure Island and Gulf of Mexico. Come face to face with nature and experience the natural beauty under sail.

Our trips include complementary soda and bottled water, BYOB is allowed. Cooler with ice available and restroom aboard. Great music and awesome captains! While our daily mission is to sail in the Gulf of Mexico, occasionally weather conditions prohibit such and our trips will take place in the calmer waters of Boca Ciega Bay.

Sleepy sailing experience. Very little explanation on sights and didn’t feel much wake. There are probably better sailing cruises in Tampa Bay.

Hey Nancy! Thank you for your review. All of our Captains and Crew have an infectious passion about the waters we sail and call home and we love to share that with our Guests when appropriate as to not interrupt your conversations with your party. As we explained at boarding, conditions in the Gulf of Mexico were pretty treacherous so we did stay in the much calmer waters of Boca Ciega Bay for your safety and the safety of the others aboard. Unfortunately, as I explained during your trip and over the phone, it takes about 4 hours each way to transit to Tampa Bay proper from our location in Treasure Island. My apologies for missing the mark with you and your group. We would love to have you aboard again in the future!-Richie

Awesome sail! We totally enjoyed this beautiful sailboat. . We enjoyed our sail with 2 other people, who shared their Prosecco and charcuterie. The crew made us feel so welcome and shared many stories and important facts about the are area. A family of dolphins scampered around the boat several times. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone. It’s a small sailboat, seats about 20 people, which makes for a cozy atmosphere. Excellent views! Can’t wait to come back.
