The sunrise and island tour was an amazing time for my wife and I. We experienced the tour on our first full day, which provided two benefits. 1) Due to the 5 hour time difference, it was a lot easier to get up for the sunrise tour and 2) Seeing the island on the first day provided us with destinations to come back and visit throughout our week in Oahu. With the Blue Hawaii Sunrise and Island Photo Tour we were able to visit many sites around the island. Our tour guide Jason was a professional photographer and not only provided photography tips when needed but was also very knowledgeable about the island and the sites were were visiting. Since it was only my wife and I, Jason was very flexible with the schedule even allowing us to stop for shaved ice. I highly recommend this tour to anyone. You will not regret it!

My wife and I signed up for a private tour on our 25th Anniversary trip to Hawaii. I am an armature photographer, never did it for a living or made money as a photographer, just pursued it as a hobby. Marie at BHPT kept good contact with us prior to our trip and confirmed the day befor our tour. When Marie contacted us to confirm she offered the option of the sunrise tour (which I very much recommend) we got some truly spectacular sunrise shots and Marie offered some great tips especially to my wife who isn’t a photographer and usually just tolerates my hobby. We toured many great spots that the more basic tours don’t or can’t get access. The pace was great and the locations were all fantastic and something we wouldn’t have done or even known about on our own. Marie provided us with a great deal of the background and history of the locations we visited. It was an all over great experience and one I would definitely do again. I got some of the best photos of our two week trip on that tour. We also did a 2nd tour/hike the following day with Mandy which was great fun in the rain but that’s to be expected in a rain forest, she really knows her birds. I highly recommend Blue Hawaii Photo Tours.

I especially loved this tour because I am new to using a DSLR camera and found Marie to be invaluable with her tips and guidance. I have continued to carry these through and my photos have improved out of sight. The added bonus were the places we went and the sights we saw were absolutely beautiful, great for taking lovely shots.
