This special time turns into an unforgettable experience when you witness it from horseback, traveling through quiet forests and beautiful mountain trails. That’s not to mention that at sunset everything cools down and all the birds start to sing. Trust us, it’s the best time of day to ride.

On the trail, you might see grazing cattle, native fruit trees, and even wild pigs. You’ll also have sneak peeks of the ocean below, leading up to the best part—a thrilling panoramic view from our scenic lookout. You’ll remember it for years to come.

Great experience with some first time riders. All of the wranglers were very helpful and friendly. Our guide Cooper was fantastic. Highly recommend the ride to families.

Such beautiful views!! Views of both the mountains and the ocean, followed with the sunset as we end our ride. And the team at Gunstock Ranch was so friendly, and fun! Highly recommend :)

My friends and I did the sunset horseback ride with Heather in January and it was incredible!!!!! Not only were the view extraordinary, but our guide Heather was very kind and knowledgeable! We had a little horsey mishap and she was so understanding. By the end of the ride, she was part of our friend circle indefinitely! Highly recommend this tour!
