American Pro Diving Center helps visitors and locals explore the clear, teeming waters of Florida with year-round manatee tour adventures. This tour is for both swimmers and riders. All the equipment is included on this manatee snorkel tour in Crystal River, Florida. Snorkelers don on wet suits, mask, snorkel and fins to see a large population of resident sea cows. Our in-water guides known as the Dive-master keep the experience safe and fun for both manatees and people. Snorkelers swim with these gentle giants for a once in a lifetime experience. We had an amazing snorkel with the manatees! There were so many manatees that you couldn’t move without coming in contact with them! I got so many hugs. One loved and constantly nibbled at my hair and hands. Abby and Aiden were our guides and they were amazing. They kept us warm (50 degree air and 72 degree water) with hot chocolate/tea and towels. They took photos and videos of us in the water and you can buy it for $40. It should be noted that the water was not the crystal blue you are envisioning. At least in our case it wasn’t. I promise you it doesn’t matter with manatees hanging on to your arms and legs and giving you kisses.

Sara and Abby were fantastic. Sara made all participants feel at home and welcome. During our initial group introduction I found myself thinking what a gift she had with people. One of the participants wasn’t really able to swim and she really eased his concerns. He stayed in the water the whole time. Sara did a great job of helping people see the manatees. Twice they came right up to me, so gentle. I loved every minute of it.

Aiden abbey and TJ were so compassionate about the conservation of the manatees and could answer any question we had, we saw a few manatees and it was a great amount of time in the water- Would recommend
