The route alternates between wooded areas and large wetland clearings, with ample opportunities for viewing wildlife and colorful spring and summer wildflower displays. Come and join us as we discover the wooded trails and nature area by bicycle. Your tour guide will lead you on your rail trail journey. On this family-friendly tour, you will be able to ride freely and enjoy the outdoors while taking in nature, the scenery, and the fresh air! Two to six riders. 6-8+ Miles.

The bike path is very lovely during spring, summer, and fall and is well maintained. The whole trail takes about 1.7 hours. During the bike ride, you can see lots of animals and beautiful scenery. It's a pleasure riding and not worrying about cars or traffic. You will feel like the bike trail is abandoned and you're the only riders. The path is mostly flat.

We had the pleasure of spending several hours with Donna exploring the rail trail and, on our return, some interesting sights in Portsmouth. We lucked out as it was only my wife and I, so we had the private tour! The booking was easy, the follow up and reminders were helpful, our reception/orientation was warm, and the equipment was in perfect order. On the return from the rail trail, Donna took extra time to show us several special places in Portsmouth that interested us.
