Formerly the Anne Hutchinson Tour of Provincetown, Lucinda Liphol has taken over the talking points. Her tongue is so sharp she can't close her mouth! She knows each and every fact old or new and simply can't wait to make you laugh using Provincetown's history. Though routes vary, 2025 tours start in the center of town at Bas Relief Park and are each about an hour in duration and a mile in distance. Offered daily. 20 people maximum on each tour. Anne is a treasure. An extremely smart and entertaining public historian. This tour offers a great orientation to Ptown, plus an important counterbalance to more traditional and whitewashed Pilgrim histories. Brava!!

We were intrigued by the description of the tour and we were not disappointed. Our guide was witty and sarcastic (which we loved) and very knowledgeable and informative. It was refreshing to get a history lesson from a different perspective (and one that never makes it into our history books). Our guide piqued our interest with enough info on Anne Hutchinson that we started doing some more research on her and her influence on early American life. Highly recommended.
