Chris was an amazing tour guide. He was knowledgable, passionate, and well-informed on many aspects of the city, not just architecture. It made for a well-rounded tour filled with interesting anecdotes about LA. We appreciated his thoughtfulness in providing water and steering us toward areas with ample shade in the hot summer sun. What made this tour extra special was being able to ride Angel's Flight at the beginning, as well as the yummy and refreshing mochi pit stop in Japan center. I had to organize this tour as an activity for a company retreat and could not have asked for a better tour guide or experience. Would highly recommend Chris and his services!

Chris was so passionate and knowledgeable. One of LA's treasures. Made sense of the (sprawling) city for us, historically, socially and geographically. Had great banter. Seriously one of the best things we did on our trip. Would suggest doing it upfront to contextualise everything else.

Thank you so much for leaving such a nice review! LA is a complicated place, and downtown one of our most complicated areas. I'm glad the tour helped make some sense of this wild city!

Chris is exactly the kind of person you want to take a walking tour with. He is an engaging and intelligent guide with a passion for the city and it's stores. He brings the tour to life in a way that reveals the deeper layers, like the hidden rings of a tree, and shows participants snapshots of Los Angeles as it existed through time. Chris even gave us an extra half hour and showed us a couple additional sites on our tour. When all is said and done, you'll be glad you met him. He makes you feel like a friend.
