Really enjoyed the Miami Design Preservation League's Art Deco Walking tour. Howard was a very engaging guide. The ninety minute walk was the perfect amount of time to get introduced to the history and architectural styles of the area. The fee is very reasonable and, best of all, it goes to support the Design Preservation League. A great way to get to know this aspect of Miami beach!

Just a really good tour that cuts through some of the modern day facade of Miami. A little history and a little architecture in the warm Florida sun is always worthwhile. Take sunscreen, a bottle of water and a camera. Do the official tour from the Art Deco welcome centre as their efforts to preserve the Art Deco styles of south beach are worth supporting.

We did a walking tour in the Miami Beach Art Deco District with Kent. It was very interesting as Kent had a lot of background information and told quaint stories about the historical aspects associated with the development of the architecture in Miami Beach. We also saw several hotel lobbies where Kent explained many details about Art Deco. Although it was partly hard to understand as we are not native speakers, we can recommend this tour and Kent as a tour guide. He was very enthusiastic and did a great job! Thanks very much, Kent!
