You will meet your guide in the center of the Village and dive into the story of this first neighborhood to form outside of Lower Manhattan in the early 1800s.

Washington Square Park

You will make your way to Washington Square Park, the iconic location of numerous protest movements and artistic displays. It is now a vibrant center of the NYU campus.

West Village

Heading into the West Village, you’ll visit sites where revolutions took place. At the Stonewall Inn, you’ll see the exact spot where the gay rights movement galvanized in the late 1960s. And around the corner you’ll see where Cafe Society once caused a revolution in integration and political performance.

Friends Apartment Building

Finally, you will explore the residential area of the West Village and see some of the beautiful architecture of the neighborhood. This includes the famed FRIENDS apartment building from the legendary sitcom. And your experience concludes at a spot of rebellion with the Hess Triangle at the corner of 7th Avenue and Christopher Street.

Top notch tour, by far! If you are into architecture, you will see such beautiful buildings in the West Village (one building in particular is the apartment from the sitcom FRIENDS). Also, learned quite a bit touring sites such as the Stonewall Inn. Tour guide, Jonathan, definitely knew his stuff. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing tour! Our tour guide, Nathan, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We saw so many things that I would never have noticed on my own. Definitely the highlight of our trip!
