Trolley Tour in Historic Jim Thorpe

Our historic trolley tour goes from the visitor center at 2 Susquehanna St. through the Jim Thorpe Memorial, the Lehigh Gorge State Park, up Broadway past all the shops, restaurants, and museums to the Mauch Chunk Lake and drop off back at the visitor center. This 70 minute tour is a great way to see most of the town of Jim Thorpe, some of our beautiful natural scenery, great things to do while in town, and our historic buildings along Broadway! Our tour is a live narration with some of the interesting history of the town as well as our name sake.

It was so much fun. Our driver was fun. The best fun ever. The driver took us around the town. I definitely recommend it this ride to anybody.

The Roller Coaster ride. The whole trolley ride was great and learn a lot about how great an athlete Jim Thorpe was.

We enjoyed the views and the train ride. Spent a day in Jim Thorpe, PA with friends celebrating a birthday, eating lunch, ice cream, and light shopping while staying in the Poconos.

Both the train and the trolley tour are great ways to see Jim Thorpe, and they are very different tours- do both if you can!
