Trolley Tour in Historic Jim Thorpe

Our historic trolley tour goes from the visitor center at 2 Susquehanna St. through the Jim Thorpe Memorial, the Lehigh Gorge State Park, up Broadway past all the shops, restaurants, and museums to the Mauch Chunk Lake and drop off back at the visitor center. This 70 minute tour is a great way to see most of the town of Jim Thorpe, some of our beautiful natural scenery, great things to do while in town, and our historic buildings along Broadway! Our tour is a live narration with some of the interesting history of the town as well as our name sake.

Excellent and agent Kim was wonderful with the reminders and courtesy calls. Fun driver and very knowledgeable of the town history.

Informative and expert with the subject. Lively.There is nothing spectacular except for a few minutes tour of the downtown,The rest are mountains which we have already seen driving for 2 hours looking for a parking space.The driver gave us false short cut directions going back across the bridge.The Trolley company are not equipped to handle some parking issues.The address and directions are wrong. Be truthful and honest to say regarding parking.Offered choices and alternatives. We are willing to pay.No warning for any medical conditions.Walking, driving too much are exhausting.Disgusting and frustrating.

Wow, Dinah, so sorry you did not receive all of our regular emails regarding the traffic and parking in town during the month of October?! They are also included with your online ticket purchase. The trolley company has no control over these unfortunate situations in our small but very popular town. We do not own nor control the parking. And not sure where or from whom you got an incorrect address? Sorry for all your troubles.

Driver was very engaging, funny, and informative. He played fun rock songs that highlighted passing certain sites. Well-organized. There is nowhere to park in town so get there early to take a shuttle from March Chunk lake. It also takes 30 minutes to get into town due to backed up traffic.
