We learned so much about turquoise! There IS a lot to learn about origins, history and types of turquoise. White turquoise?

Came for the self guided tour. The “fun facts about turquoise was interesting, I had no idea most turquoise is white. The museum was interesting and parts of it were very educational. Other parts seemed a little rambling in the written explanations or didn’t tie the exhibit together. (also there were spelling and grammar errors that drive me nuts, but that’s me) overall I learned some interesting things about turquoise and saw some beautiful treatments of it (chandelier, mask, carving set) I’d allow an hour, tops.

This museum should not be missed when visiting Albuquerque! You will learn so much about the history of turquoise and Lowery family.
