You're rolling the dice with this tour. I was convinced by all the glowing reviews here, and I'm sure you might have an experience similar to theirs. Mine, however, was completely different. We saw a single turtle, just barely, on the surface, for a few seconds. The rest of the time, we floated around pointlessly in cold, choppy water that made me feel instantly miserable and seasick - for context, I am not at all prone to seasickness. When you look down, the water is too cloudy and murky to see anything. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they obviously can't control whether or not turtles show up, or how the water looks/feels, but I got the clear sense that they knew these snorkeling boat tours were not the best way to see fish or turtles in Hawaii. My hard-earned advice: Avoid a snorkeling boat tour in Waikiki entirely and visit Shark's Cove or Hanauma Bay to snorkel instead.
