I’m going to be honest- I don’t think they should set sail if the waters are choppy. It would have been so much better if it was cancelled due to choppy conditions. Most of the people we were with and the 3 of us on the tour were quite seasick. I never saw so many buckets being used like that before. It’s not really fun to get sick on a tour. I will say the crew Lexie and Alex and others were super caring. They tried their best to make us comfortable and relax. The captain was a little less caring and we were not impressed with him. Overall if you NEVER get seasick under any conditions then this is the snorkel for you otherwise do a walk on shore snorkel event. I gave it 3 stars because the staff was for the most part Great and we did all see turtles and fish and that part was wonderful.

Thank you so much for the kind words about our staff. Unfortunately sea sickness is commonly an issue when people come out on boat trips. We strongly recommend looking into sea sickness medication prior to your trip if you are prone to motion sickness or unaccustomed to being on boats. Ocean conditions are always changing and we do cancel trips when conditions are too rough to safely operate our tours, generally if we can safely take people snorkeling and show them the marine life (as you mentioned happened on your tour) then we don’t cancel the tour. We do commonly have people who feel seasick (thus the buckets) even on the calmest of days.
