My boyfriend and I did this trip. There were a lot of turtles and the guides were great! Light snacks and refreshments hit the spot after all the swimming. The boat was cost guard certified, so no alcohol is allowed on if that is something you’re looking for.

Booked last minute, to fill a few hours between getting off a cruise and heading to the airport. This ended up being a top highlight of my trip! Had a great time, saw lots of fish and sea turtles up close. Great views of Honolulu and Diamond Head, no whales unfortunately. The staff were very friendly and helpful, felt very safe with a dedicated lifeguard watching us and guide in the water. This would be a great option even for someone who hadn't snorkeled before, they offered an option of going with the guide right away or doing a quick snorkel lesson next to the boat. They even have Rx snorkels masks, which was great since I wear glasses. Only downside was that the reef was a bit crowded with multiple other tours, it was sometimes hard to stay out of each other's way - to be expected on a weekend with nice weather, I suppose. At least we could tell who was on our tour with different-colored vests.
