We had moments when we didn't have reception so if you are able to download the tour prior to your arrival that may make your experience better. And take the time to drive a bit slower, especially when there are 2 lanes for the same direction of traffic. Overall, well worth the $8, nice overview of Acadia so you can stop and pause the tour and then go back to places you would like to spend more time. Also a GREAT option to avoid tour groups, if there are any during COVED! I wish the tour offered more tales of the park while you are in between the highlights.

There were mixed reviews regarding the audio tour but I figured for $8 why not try it. I was pleased with the audio tour and it was informative in Acadia National Park. With the COVID19, I figured this is a great alternative to traveling with a group of people I don't know. Glad I downloaded it.

Wonderful self drive tour. I read the previous review and decided to do it, it saved us $70. What we loved the most, we went at our pace and spent most of the day doing the park. I liked it automatically started as we approached a point of interest. It included history which is great and not sure if you’d get the information on another tour. Be sure to download on a strong WiFi !!! After that we had no problems with the tour! Remember you must get a pass for the park or display your membership card. Thank you for this self your, we will look into others.

Thanks a lot for the review. Yes. The tour needs to be downloaded in good cellular connection. Then you can be put in airplane mode for this tour to work properly.
