My husband and I both grew up not far from here, but have lived out of the area for decades now. So we decided to do this tour to get a different perspective on towns that we remembered from our childhoods. We were so glad we did! The tour took us to spots we never knew existed, through beautiful neighborhoods, and was full of interesting facts. The only “criticism” was that the narrator did not pronounce Gloucester correctly, haha. So our private joke was - “oh what does he know?” But it turns out, he knows a lot! I have already recommended this to my friends. The drive took us all day when you add in stops for lunch, photos, a little shopping, etc. But you could just do the actual drive time and thoroughly enjoy it. We went slightly off tour and made a brief stop at the Paper House . That is a quick, quirky stop that should be added on here.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I’m thrilled that my tour of Cape Ann added to your learning and that you and your husband enjoyed it. Cape Ann offers a lot to its visitors, and we do our best to provide it all, and we’re always open to suggestions about other info to add. I’ll pass your suggestions for Paper House on to my team. In addition, I also have 100 other self-guided tours for other parks, scenic drives, cities, and historic sites in the US — hopefully, you’ll get the chance to try them next time! Also, just to remind you, the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit.

Highly recommend. We saw so many things we would not have seen on our won This tour takes you off the beaten path, explaining that even though it says no trespassing etc...it is actually allowable for public access. might be boring for kids but lots of beaches where you can get out.

I have taken narrated guided tours all over the US but this one was disappointing. The app was hard to follow. It kept on changing views so I had to keep on returning it to the map so I can see where I am going. There were long patches of silence. New England has a long history so I am sure that those long periods of silence could have been avoided by narrating interesting stories or history around the area

I have designed the app to show the image of attraction you are looking at. I show the image as a video or gif to show different seasons and historical timeframes. I have to put the image on the map for a few seconds. It feels awkward, but you will find it helpful after a few minutes of using it. I also have 100 other self-guided tours for other national parks, scenic drives, cities, and historic sites in the US. Hopefully, you’ll get the chance to try them next time! Also, just to remind you, the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit.
