Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 1 hour prior to scheduled flight time with Identification. It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)

My most memorable experience was the guy from the helicopter tour telling me over the phone that there was no flight, without informing us prior. Never again

We sent you an email the night before and called your phone stating that the weather was not good. You never replied to our email or calls.

Nothing beats NYC from the air but I was disappointed with this tour. It was sold as 20-25 minutes and from touch off to land clocked in at 21 with 5 of those minutes being travel time from across the water in New Jersey and maneuvering so closer to 15 minutes. We flew up and back the Hudson with a quick circle around the Statue of Liberty. We didn't fly over the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges as promised despite me asking the pilot and we didn't fly over Central Park or any part of the city (I saw others doing it but maybe they have different clearance?), just flew up and down the river. Office staff was unorganized and unmasked. Our pilot was new to the company and new(ish) to NYC so maybe we got an off day. Overall, it was a stunning experience but I felt we didn't get what was promised and considering the price, I think 3 stars is generous.

All tours are signed off by the pilots and you did take your 23 min tour.

Very friendly staff and a memorable experience. The flight was great to see all the well-known sight from a new angle, incomparable to other ways of sightseeing.
