Comic-con Museum
For the past 50 years, San Diego Comic-Con has created one of the biggest, most popular conventions of its kind in the world. But the organizers of Comic-Con wanted to do even more to recognize fans and spread the magic of Comic-Con. They imagined a place where fans could come together to celebrate the things they love, not just for a few days each summer, but all year long. A place where the public could learn about areas of art and pop culture of which they may not even be aware. A space where everyone is included, where old fans and new could enjoy the passion, creativity, and imagination of Comic-Con, while learning about science, technology, art, storytelling and much more.

Children's Pool
Children's Pool in La Jolla was originally an area in San Diego designated for children to swim. In 1932, a seawall was built to protect the shore from oncoming waves, making it the ideal spot for children to paddle without danger. While the Children's Pool in La Jolla provides a swimming spot suitable for children, the conditions also prove to be idylic for harbor seals and sea lions. Seal Rock, which is located just north of the beach is home to hundreds of seals, and its close proximity to the Children's Pool La Jolla has increased seal interest in the pool area. Seals have since come to the La Jolla Children's Pool to bathe, bask and even give birth to their seal pups.

A space where everyone is included, where old fans and new could enjoy the passion, creativity, and imagination of Comic-Con, while learning about science, technology, art, storytelling and much more. Our guide Jeff was very knowledgeable and provided detailed local history. The tour included areas such as Mt. Soledad and La Jolla, not just downtown. It gave us a great understanding where to go and the time at La Jolla was sufficient so that we don’t need to return there. Jeff was very helpful on suggestions for our stay, and responded to 2 of our questions several hours after the tour was completed.

Responsible : 5 / 5  Safe : 5 / 5  Unique : 5 / 5  Value : 5 / 5  Review Chris offered us an awesome opportunity to see things we would never have thought of. He was right on time, courteous, and was very engaging. We felt Chris went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and safe at every stop. He was always ready to direct us or answer questions. His knowledge of all the areas we visited and areas we drove through on the way helped us enjoy everything even more.

Chris was highly informative, professional. Also was so helpful in assisting my 88 yr old mother with her walker. He was very patient and we felt so comfortable that he allowed us as much time we desired or needed on each attraction. We didn't feel rushed. Truly an amazing tour and amazing guide. You won't be disappointed!
