This was one of the best tours I have been on. We didn’t hit any of the “tourist attractions”. We visited local Amish families and farms. The guide was super knowledgeable. Amazing.

It was disappointing, it was NOT an immersion experience. I thought I would be able to speak with an Amish person to actually hear them speak about their life and that did not happen. It was just a touring of Amish farms with a stop over to get some ice cream.

Because we are taking our guests to private Amish properties and not commercial venues, there are rare occasions when they are not available to speak to at each property. Since this is a 3 hour, professionally guided experience with lots of information on the Amish history, culture, and lifestyle we usually find that guests appreciate those other aspects as well.

Excellent tour and we saw everything we came to see. Our guise Sandy was super and a local person with a vast amount of knowledge.
