I enjoyed listening to the history and facts about the Amish. I liked visiting the site where "The Witness " was filmed. I did not like visiting two barns which were very similar to each other. You need to add a fourth place where people can meet the Amish and see how they live.

Usually you do have interaction with them at their homes, but since these properties we go to are private Amish homes and not tourist stops, we can't guarantee that their schedules are always going to align. The Amish Immersion Experience was very enjoyable and informative. Our tour guide (also the owner of the tour company) was very well-informed about the Amish customs and history from having lived in the area for 50+ years. He’s established connections and relationships with several Amish families, enabling the tour to visit homes and businesses not usually available for most people to see. It was interesting getting to visit with several of the Amish people we met. The lad who made the bird houses, the ice cream stop, the working dairy farm, and the location used in the movie “Witness” were all very enjoyable to see. I would recommend using the ear piece that is offered during the tour, to make it easier to hear the information that’s given by the tour guide. A highly-recommended three hour tour !
