I met some friends and family for a rafting trip. This was the second time I had ever gone rafting. Our guide lomeg made the trip very exciting and communicated well. I highly recommend this guide and would do it again in a heart beat.

My family and I have done the family float in the past and we had such a great time that when we decided to revisit Tennessee it was a no brainer deciding to go rafting again. We felt that it was obvious to go with this company as well. Chip was our guide and he is excellent. Chip is an older gentleman and very experienced. He was energetic and knew the river very well. When we first got our raft in the water and climbed inside another raft hit ours. I didn’t see it coming but my husband did and he felt that it looked to be intentional? When the other raft hit us my 18 year old autistic son who is well over 6 feet tall and almost 200 pounds fell into the river. He’s a great swimmer but I could see that he was in a bit of a panic. I’m sure that the other rafters were only being silly and didn’t mean any harm but I wish that people could realize that they don’t know who is on the other raft and maybe should not play in a potentially dangerous situation. Anyway Chip jumped up right away and very quickly pulled my son back onto our raft, he was great! The rest of our trip was amazing we had so much fun. There was a spot where the water was more calm and people were getting into the water to swim. Both of our boys went for a dip (it was more controlled and not unexpected like the first time our son went in). Once again Chip stood up in the raft and was able to walk in the raft, I will never know how he does that but he made it look easy. Chip pulled both back onto our raft with ease. He was also funny and hard working. We will absolutely come back to this same company and hope that we get Chip as our guide again.

Super organized, the main office even called us prior to our arrival to get our ETA and to make sure we knew the way there. When we arrived we just checked in and headed over to our bus (school bus type) to be transported to the upper river site. Your guide then divides the groups for the rafts, then you are fitted for a helmet and a personal floatation device (vest) and given a paddle/oar for your raft. I’m afraid of heights BUT these guides on our bus were so much fun I never even realized just how high up we were😬. When we reached the rafting site our guides gave us our instructions then we loaded up into the raft. Our guide “slick Rick” was AWESOME!🙌🏻😎and made this the best adventure of our entire vacation. Our daughter is 11 and he kept her next to him during our rafting down the river and I felt comfortable with her with him. PLEASE consider taking this adventure even if you are hesitant and maybe even afraid of heights- YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I would have gone again over and over if we didn’t have to head to Nashville the next day. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
